Does anyone have Directions and Measurements for a kitchenaid mixer cover?

i think paying 30 bucks for a cover is kinda pricey, i would rather do it myself. Does anyone have any info about this? I have a 5 qt kitchen aid mixer.

I’ve decided to purchase this stand mixer for my mom’s upcoming 50th birthday, but i don’t know which color?

should i get chrome or brushed nickle? i’ve been debating back and fourth. her kitchen has white cabinets and greyish granite counter top.

Brushed nickel would probably go better with the grey granite and also be easier to keep looking clean than the chrome, but I think white would be a better choice than either one.
