babycook Beaba I have always considered "mixed" to combine or not I have just received bad machine?

I try to use my new Beaba. Babycook it steams well, but then I follow the instructions in the mix and it seems that I must hold the button until it is blended food It is not very reasonable to take quite a few minutes to blend sweet Potatoes like I do wrong? Machine is not bad? Thank you.
