Is there any way to slightly boost my processor speed?

I have a compaq presario c700 notebook with a 1.73GHz, ~ 1.7GHz processor, 1014mb of RAM, and it runs on windows vista home basic.

I would like to know if there is any way to boost my processor speed to 1.8GHz and my RAM to 1.5GB. I ask because I would very much like to be able to play GTA IV on my laptop.

RAM is pretty cheap & upgrade should not be any issue

i suggest going right upto 2 gb & what ram you have presently inside, sell that off in ebay

boosting processor speed > not ., your bios fields are locked out for good reason

as far as playing GTA IV on your laptop, get your system scanned & see where exact you stand, or lacking
