My Braun juicer has not been used for a few years?
and now, when I turn it on, the movable part (like a flat ciruclar plate) just does not turn. Could it be stuck? What can I do?

it is BRAUN MP50 COMPACT CITRUS JUICER
I can hear the motor run when I turn it on, but there is no movement.
Try putting a cup of boiling water in it and let it sit. If this doesn’t work the motor is frozen up below the blade, and you may as well get a new one. It costs to much to get a small appliance repaired.
