I usually get it ground in the shop but it comes out to fine and gets threw the French press. I was wondering if I could just use my braun food processor and which blade to grind it.

it might damage the blades depending on the quality of the food processor blades, they do make coffee grinders for like $10-15 with adjustable grind size
I wouldn’t recommend it. You could easily ruin your food processor. You can get a coffee mill for pretty cheap. I bought one about 10 years ago for $10. Check today’s Macy’s ad in the paper. They often have sales on them for around $15.
Yes, but it’s very noisy
Yes, you can.
However, the grounds might ruin your food processor. They are very difficult to remove and get stuck everywhere. You don’t want to ruin a Braun…that’s a good food processor and it will last you for years.
I usually avoid kitchen gadgets that serve one purpose, but buy a coffee mill. They are cheap and well worth it. You can also grind whole spices in it.
Or when you have your shop grind your beans, tell them it’s for a press and they can make the grounds bigger.
