“Satisfied…good purchase”

I’m new to juicing. I spent considerable time reading about juicing and juicers, as this is my first experience. Based on my research, I chose a masticating juicer over the centrifigal. Maticating takes more fruit/vegetable preperation time and more time for cleanup; but I, and others, think it’s worth it for a superior end result.

Although the SoloStar II is at the lower price-end of masticators (but generally more expensive than centrifigals), this juicer is of good quality, performs as advertised, and I am pleased with my selection.

Some of the accessory parts like the holding containers and screens are not as heavy duty, or of the same quality as the machine itself, but this should not be a consideration for buying this product.

“SoloStar II Juicer”

I prefer the single gear juicer than the centrifuge kind. If you do not mind cutting up your vege & fruits like me. I like it because it is quiet & does a good job eventhough it only has a 180W motor. It “chews” slowly but thoroughly. I do not mind the low speed. I used to own a Samson but I think the Solostar II does a much better job because it has a longer and heavier auger. I think the single gear juicer does a better job in juicing leafy greens such as wheatgrass than the centrifuge kind. The juicer is heavy which I do not mind as long as it does a good job & runs quiet.
