what do recipes mean by punnets strawberries hulled and sliced?
this recipe does not make sense to me
2 Tbsp apple juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 x 250g punnets strawberries, hulled and sliced
12 sponge finger biscuits, thickly sliced crossways
2/3 cup low fat custard
Step 1
Place apple juice, vanilla and half the strawberries in a food processor or blender. Process until smooth.
Step 2
Place biscuits in a bowl. Working quickly, pour strawberry mixture over biscuits and stir until just coated.
Step 3
Spoon 2 tablespoons biscuit mixture into base of four 1 cup capacity dishes. Top each with 1 Tbsp custard. Arrange 3-4 slices of strawberry over custard. Repeat layers twice. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Serve.

The hull or calyx is the green leafy top of the strawberry, which is generally removed before cooking or serving.
Step 1: Angle a small sharp knife and cut, in a circular motion, around the green leafy top of the strawberry and into the pale flesh directly underneath.
Step 2: Remove the hull and discard. Wash strawberries thoroughly under cold running water before using.
The link below shows strawberries in there punnets…so according to this site and others that i’ve found punnets are the little containers they come in.
