The sealing ring to my mixer KitchenAid 5 Speed Ultra is attached to the blender How do I remove it?

The above answers are correct, the hot water. However, I would not use a blade or sharp objects in it. Remember to take time to soak it (the key), which has a rubber stamp, very flexible. Dent and risk damaging a way can observe that even at first. This will shorten the life together, and then you end up having to find a replacement. Good luck!
