Does anyone have the speed Oster blender 8 or KitchenAid 5-speed? How do you like?

I want a mixer and serious thought was to obtain a Blendtec. After reading some comments, I am not convinced that you have to spend lots of money. I saw the 8-speed Oster and speed KitchenAid 5 were chosen among the top six consumer reports. Anyone have any experience with one of these? The characteristic The most important thing for me is that I can frappachinos and beaten so chunks of ice … I want it.

Oster 8 is great. I can make the best homemade soups.
