I just made lemon bars and yeast, while my crust came out on top. Why?

I made the recipe from Emeril Lagasse lemon bars and has gone wrong. I made the recipe as it says, but during the crust somehow my rose to the top of the bars and lemon half was dipped in the crust and the rest was at the bottom of the pan. All comments for this recipe was great and not like someone else has had problems. What I did wrong? Please help. :) The recipes do not call Bakin powder or any other agent increases. Fortyonelady … I first firing. I think that can not be resolved, but I'll wait a few answers. they know well, and Thanks be so sweet! :) I wish I could send you some.
